Fun In Indiana!!! ~ June 1-5

Last week Mary and I got to travel with Christa and her sister Charise, down to Indiana to visit their grandparents and other relatives. It was a fun few days and lots of great "sister time!" Here is a cute Sunday afternoon photo shoot in a park after church.
Fun on the swing at Aunt Julie's house!
The night before we left we took the Schofield's cousin bowling. I almost got a 'turkey' (three strikes in a row!) on the last frame! Now that never happens!!!

Caitlin's High School Graduation - May 12, 2007!!!

Caitlin graduated from M.A.C.H.E. (MN Association of Christian Home Educators) on May 12th along with 87 other students. The day was beautiful and Katie
was very excited to graduate! We were all disappointed though, that Daniel had to work and was flying in NY that weekend. :-(

"Daddy's 4 girls!" all dressed in matching black & white! Caitlin, Mary and I sang a trio for the commencement and all decided that we should at least coordinate our attire. :-) It was lots of fun!!! Especially since Amy joined us in also matching. Congratulations Katie-Tadie! I love you and am so proud of you!!!

Graduation - I'm done!!!

I finally graduated on May 5th from Pillsbury Bible College in Owatonna, MN! Graduation went well and I had the opportunity (along with 5 others) to give a brief testimony at commencement of how Pillsbury influenced my life. I am amazed at the goodness of the Lord in helping me really make it through and graduate. I am grateful for the many opportunities and experiences that I had at Pillsbury. I learned so much both in and out of the classroom and made many lifelong friends! I now have a double major in Bible and elementary education and look forward to using all that I learned in the future.
Here is Pillsbury College's 2007 graduating class marching across campus to commencement.
I was one of the last four people at the end of the line.

My best friend from my college days ~ Christa Schofield.
I love you Christa, and thank you for all of the amazing and special college memories that you have given me! I wouldn't trade them for anything!

I really graduated!!!

Me and little Anders! I love you buddy!

Here is a picture of my friend and former boss, Dean of Women, Mrs. Judy Champion. Thanks for all that you taught me Mrs. C! I appreciate you and your testimony to the many girls at Pillsbury. Your work had not gone unnoticed. Thank you!!!

And last but not least, my wonderful family! THANK YOU my sweet family, for your influence and investment in my life! You mean the world to me and I love you all very much!

Student Teaching

Hello All! Student teaching has been going well and I am learning a lot. I was able to obtain some pictures from the school that were taken during our week of assessment testing. I am enjoying my time at Fourth Baptist Christian School and like my supervising teacher. The more I am in the classroom however, the more I realize how much I still have to learn.
I will be starting my sixth week tomorrow. It has been fun to get to know the kids and their individual personalities. They are all very sweet children!

Hello family and friends! This last week I was able to get some fun senior pictures taken with my friend Christa. I leave school in only two days! Wow my six weeks of block classes have flown by! I am excited to begin student teaching next Tuesday. I will have 22 1st graders. It should be heaps of fun! I will try to keep this updated with my
teaching experiences.

The Last of Joyful Praise!

My quartet 'Joyful Praise' sang in our last performances on December 8-9 at Pillsbury's Christmas concert. It was bittersweet. We had a blast traveling and singing together, yet I am glad to be out of the van - ahem. I have many fun memories from the whole experience and am grateful for the opportunity to have ministered in that capacity. I am also blessed to have gotten to travel for a whole summer with my best friend Christa (thanks girl, for the great memories)!

My Family!

My beautiful sisters growing up way too fast!

Baby Anders just keeps getting cuter & cuter!

Sweet Baby Anders is growing so fast! He is already 41/2 months old. He has brought only joy and happiness to the Miller/Nyberg clan. Anders has the sweetest disposition and the most kissable cheeks ever! He still has a head full of soft baby hair. I think that he has the most blond hair I have ever seen on a baby. Amy has already had to trim it because it was getting too long (or should I say she had daddy cut it...?)

Auntie Mary loves sweet Anders!

Anders and Uncle Daniel!

Anders looks a lot like his mamma!

Back at School!

I am back at Pillsbury College again. I have finally accomplished getting to my senior year. Praise the Lord! I am once again a Floor Leader for a second year in a row. After living on second floor for three years, I have moved up in the world and now live on 4th floor with a great group of 22 other girls.

Here are the 5 other Floor Leaders that I will
be working with this year. From left to right they
are Melissa Groschel, Christa Schofield, Candace
Kovach, Amy Fiztsimmons, and Carissa Callahan.
We had a fun two-day Floor Leader retreat at a
camp in Iowa before school started. We have a great
group of F.L.'s this year and I am excited to get to
work with them.

Baby Anders

I realized that I don't have any photos of my sweet nephew Anders Nyberg on my blog! So here are a few pictures of the cutest baby ever!!!
Great-Grandpa Miller!

Philladelphia & Boston...

Well here is another update of my summer travels...while on the east coast we had the opportunity to go to Philly and see the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Four of us had never been to Philly, so we really enjoyed seeing everything. There is so much history there! A few days later we were in Boston for the afternoon and got to tour the ship 'The Constitution." It is the oldest war vessel afloat in America, built around 1797.

'Independence Hall' where the Declaration of Independence was signed. It was so amazing to be inside and be in the same room where history was made.

Just an update...

Sorry I haven't added any new pics as of late. We haven't been in homes that offered the internet. We are still on tour in the east coast and will begin heading west on Monday, July 3. I am out of time, but hope to add some fun pictures of our time here in the east as soon as I am able. Check back soon...

Emmaus Baptist Church Patriotic Concert...

After having been on the road for two weeks "Joyful Praise" came back to MN to sing in New Ulm and attend a wedding. It just so happened that we were in MN the same day as my church's Patriotic concert held at Bethel University campus. The Bevis' graciously allowed us to go to the 3 pm concert before we headed out for New York that same night. It was a beautiful concert and we were thrilled to get to go. Ministering in the Churches...

Here are more pictures of "Joyful Praise" singing on Mankato's channel 12 TV program "I Believe in Miracles". I can't post more than 5 pictures under one heading at a time or I would have put these with the other TV pics.
